How
is the HUB organized?
To perform synchrotron experiments beyond the single-technique, single-experiment and single-institute approach, the Hub operates a new organizational framework and cooperative infrastructure based on community-organized beamtime access and scientific program.
The experimental plan is proposed and discussed collegially every 6 months, using an internal beamtime selection. The Hub governance model describes the interactions between ESRF and the Hub. Roles and responsibilities of the different individuals and committees, the decision making and monitoring process, the procedures for changes in the management structure, the internal mechanism of beamtime allocation, IP management and communication rules of the Hub can be found in detail in our Terms of Reference, available on request at eubatteryhub@esrf.fr.
